ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President Craig Brush, along with Head Coach and General Manager Brad Ralph, announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Andrew Fyten. The Florida Everblades have also announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Adrien Bisson.
Fyten, 25, enters his third season with the Everblades after joining the club late in the 2022-23 season. A member of the Kelly Cup winning teams of 2023 and 2024, Fyten won his second championship with Florida after playing 21 games this season, scoring five goals with five assists. The Sundre, Alberta native did not appear in the postseason for the Everblades this year, after making his final regular-season appearance on March 16.
In 54 career games with the Everblades, including playoffs, Fyten has tallied 19 total points on nine goals and 10 assists.
Prior to joining the Everblades, Fyten played three years of collegiate hockey at Mount Royal University. Previously, Fyten enjoyed a four-year junior career with the Calgary Hitmen, Swift Current Broncos and Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League, winning a WHL championship with Swift Current in 2018.
Bisson, 25, enters his first full season with the Everblades after joining the club late in the 2023-24 season. A member of the Kelly Cup winning team of 2024, Bisson played in nine regular-season games, registering one assist. The Cornwall, Ontario native also appeared in two postseason games for the Everblades during the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Prior to joining the Everblades, Bisson played five years of collegiate hockey, spending three years with the University of Maine before closing out his collegiate career with two seasons at Mercyhurst College. Over 138 collegiate contests, Bisson collected 33 total points on 10 goals and 23 assists.
Before turning pro, Bisson competed in junior hockey for four seasons with the Ottawa Junior Senators of the Central Canada Hockey League. In 194 combined CCHL regular season and playoff games, Bisson notched 81 points on 18 goals and 63 assists. The Junior Senators won back-to-back CCHL championships in 2018 and 2019.
