Florida Everblades Secure Two Prestigious ECHL League Awards

ESTERO, Fla. — The Florida Everblades continue to demonstrate excellence on and off the ice, as evidenced by their recent accolades at the 2024 ECHL Hockey Summer Meetings presented by FEVO in Las Vegas. The organization proudly brought home two significant league awards: the Team Award of Excellence and Commissioner's Club recognition.

The Team Award of Excellence is presented to the ECHL team that meets or exceeds standards of excellence across multiple categories, including marketing, social media, broadcasting, and community relations. This award underscores the Everblades' organizational commitment to delivering a superior experience to fans and the broader community.

Commissioner's Club recognition is bestowed upon ECHL members which meet or exceed the league's revenue standards of $1,000,000 in Ticket and Sponsorship Sales. This achievement highlights the Everblades' strong fan base and the organization's ability to consistently attract spectators to Hertz Arena.

Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Adam Winslow, Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer Chris Palin, and Vice President of Business Development & Broadcasting Mike Kelly accepted the awards on behalf of the Florida Everblades organization. 

In addition to winning these awards, the Florida Everblades were nominated for several other prestigious awards:

1. Community Service Team of the Year: This nomination recognizes the Everblades' significant contributions and dedication to community initiatives throughout Southwest Florida.
   
    
2. Prolific 1 Ticket Department of the Year – Aggregate: This nomination acknowledges the exceptional performance of Everblades' ticket sales department in overall ticket revenue generation.
   
    
3. Group Department of the Year – Aggregate: This nomination highlights the success of the Everblades' group sales efforts, demonstrating the team's ability to attract and accommodate large groups of fans.

These awards and nominations are a testament to the entire organization’s hard work and dedication, from the players and coaches to the front office staff and loyal fans. The Florida Everblades look forward to building on these successes as preparations for another exciting season of ECHL hockey at Hertz Arena continue.
