ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues and the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds, announced that the team has signed forward Reed Lebster to a standard player contract.
Lebster, 25, enters his first full season with the Everblades after joining the club late in the 2023-24 season following his final collegiate season with Michigan State University. A member of the 2024 Kelly Cup winning team, Lebster saw action exclusively during the Kelly Cup Playoffs, appearing in five postseason contests after joining the Everblades in April.
Prior to joining the Everblades, Lebster played four collegiate seasons with the University of Massachusetts, before competing for a fifth season at Michigan State. In 147 collegiate contests spanning five years, Lebster registered a combined total of 76 points on 34 goals and 42 assists for the Minutemen and Spartans.
A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., Lebster played three years of junior hockey with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League, putting up 84 total points in 178 regular-season and postseason games.
