GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Florida Everblades are set to face off against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits today, November 17 at 3:05 p.m. in the second contest of a two-game series following last night’s dominant 8-0 victory.
Yesterday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Blades forward Carson Gicewicz opened the scoring at the 7:18 mark which was followed soon after by another quick goal by Gicewicz to extend the lead to two just under halfway into the first frame. Not even a minute later, Gary Haden added to the Blades’ offensive onslaught to put the Swamp Rabbits in a three-goal deficit.
This continued as Kyle Betts, Oliver Chau and Craig Needham each found the back of the net bringing the Blades to six goals by the end of the first 20, while the Swamp Rabbits remained scoreless. Both Chau and Needham’s first period goals were shorthanded, showcasing the type of gameplay that was present in Greenville territory.

With the Swamp Rabbits still scoreless, Gicewicz capped off his impressive performance by completing a hat trick, netting the eighth goal of the game at 18:23 of the second period, effectively sealing the contest.
