ESTERO, Fla. – Following last night’s 5-4 setback, the Blades face the Steelheads one more time to end the road trip. Idaho scored the game winner against Florida on a five-on-three power play with 37 seconds left in the game.
The Other Side: The Idaho Steelheads, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars and the AHL's Texas Stars, currently rank fifth in the mountain division with a record of 18-13-3-0 following their win against the Blades. Brendan Hoffman scored two goals, including the game winner, while AJ White netted three assists to reach 400 points in his ECHL career.
In the Pipes: Will Cranley made his first start for the Everblades since December 11 last night, making 20 saves in the loss, dropping his overall record to 4-5-1-0 this season. For Idaho, Ben Kraws starred with a 38 save performance for his tenth win on the campaign.
