ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades rematch with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Friday, February 7 on Canadian Night.
Florida is now on a three-game skid following a 3-0 setback against the Swamp Rabbits on Wednesday. Dryden McKay made 38 saves for his second shutout of the season while Bryce Brodzinski, Carter Savoie, and Parker Berge all scored for the Swamp Rabbits. That game marked the third time this season where Florida was held scoreless.
The Everblades are still first in the South Division with a six-point advantage over the South Carolina Stingrays. Overall, Florida remains tied for first in the ECHL with the Toledo Walleye.
Greenville is now on a three-game winning streak, passing the Savannah Ghost Pirates in the process. They sit 16 points behind the Orlando Solar Bears for fourth place in the division with eight games in hand. The Swamp Rabbits are the only South Division foe Florida has a losing record against, having lost two of three meetings this season.
