ESTERO, Fla. – The St. Louis Blues, NHL affiliate of the Florida Everblades, have recalled goaltender Will Cranley to the American Hockey League's Springfield Thunderbirds.
Cranley, 22, sports an 8-6-2-0 record in 16 games with Florida this season, most recently getting a 3-2 shootout win over the Indy Fuel on Saturday. The Peterborough, ON native has a 2.28 goals against average and .911 save percentage this season. The left-catching netminder has also played two AHL games with the Springfield Thunderbirds this season, with a 0-1-0-0 record there with a 4.91 GAA and .867 SP.
Cranley is in the final year of his entry level contract with the Blues. St. Louis selected Cranley in the sixth round (163rd overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft from the Ontario Hockey League’s Ottawa 67’s.
